Michigain Automotive Solutions ("Michigain," "we," "us") provides Wheelie and related services to franchised and independent auto dealerships. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Information we collect

  • Dealer-provided data: service drive activity, repair orders, advisor identifiers, vehicle and customer records imported from your dealer management system (DMS).
  • Usage data: device, IP, browser, and interaction logs from the Wheelie iPad app and our dashboards.
  • Contact data: name, work email, phone, and dealership details provided when you book a demo or request information.

How we use information

  • To run the Wheelie service: capture walkarounds, build recommendations, push repair orders to the DMS, and report results to managers.
  • To improve accuracy and performance of our models on your store's data, scoped to your dealership.
  • To support, secure, and bill for our services.

DMS & customer data

When you connect Wheelie to your DMS (Autosoft, CDK, Reynolds, Tekion, etc.) we receive customer and vehicle records under your authority. We act as a service provider to the dealership and only use that information to operate Wheelie for your store.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with vetted subprocessors (cloud hosting, AI inference, transcription) under written contracts that restrict use to providing the service.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is scoped by role and audited. DMS credentials are stored in a secrets vault, not in application code.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing carl@michigainauto.com. Dealership customers should direct end-customer requests to the dealership of record.
